Philippines Halalan 2010, Presidential Candidate 2010 Interview By Qurina Zanchez

QRina: Around of applause please for our presidential candidate — Mar Roxas..

* APPLAUSE Applause…

Rina: And for our next interview, among all the presidential candidate that would be running for May 10, 2010 election, this is guy is not famous and came from the land of the promise — Mindanao.  Unlike our previous talks with , Mar Roxas, Jojo Binay, Manny Villar, and Joseph Estrada, this guy didn’t have any background experience in politics.  Some people consider him insane for running but some are very much amazed in this guy.  I personally was impressed when we talked backstage.  So please while everyone is still watching this, please give time to our last presidential candidate Mr. Christopher Abadullah.

* Crowds paused in awe and paused.  The lights where turned on for the LED display and printed APPLAUSE.  The crowd started clapping their hands.  QRina stood up and shakes hands with Mr Abadullah.

Qrina:  As we were saying everyone, Mr Abadullah here came from Mindanao and currently taking up the challenge in our country’s most powerful man.

Qrina: Good day, Mr Abadalluh!

Mr Abadalluh: Good day Qrina, You can call me rlon for short. It’s is an honor to meet a very talented and known reporter as you.  Before I started, I would like to thank you for you and your staff for welcoming me here.

Qrina: You are welcome, as a presidential candidate we would like to give everyone a fair and good competition on this upcoming election.  Moving on Rlon, well shall we start?

Rlon: Sure.

Qrina: Ok, Rlon you came from an unknown background,  can you give us some information on who you are and what do you do?

Rlon: Well, I’m Christopher Abadullah.  I came from the land of promise and in the ciudad de zamboanga, meaning Zamboanga City. I speak chavacano, tagalog and tausug.  I can also speak bisaya but I have a hard time formulating fast sentences in my head. Sometimes they call it barok though I can understand most of it not just the deeper ones.  I also speak english, well as you can see, my grammar … lets say needs more practice.

Qrina: Oh I see, well that’s actually great you speak five languages. I see you are a linguist.

Rlon: Yeap, aside from these dialects, I also speak the language of computers. I am terribly in love with computers and its philosophy so I pursued my BS Computer Science course. I learned a lot of programming languages, so I think I’m really a linguist.

Qrina: So in Computers.. That’s amazing.. Nowadays computers are very in demand. But you didn’t came here to apply for a job right? haha * just kidding.

Rlon *laughs

Qrina: So what school did you say you were?

Rlon: I studied in Ateneo De Zamboanga. It’s a nice school actually.

Qrina: Wow, that’s nice Ateneo…

Rlon: Yeap, with De Zamboanga.

Qrina: What do you mean?

Rlon: Well, honestly Qrina, this is the first time that I answered straight on the question.  I went to a lot of job interviews and everytime someone asked me, that includes other candidates about my school.  I always tell them that I just study somewhere in Zamboanga. It’s actually amazing.

Qrina: Amazing? How?

Rlon: Uhm.. It’s actually amazing how I see them look at me like they are superior than me.  Whenever they here the place Zamboanga. Bomb pops on their head. Even you right? Aminin!

Qrina: Oh I get it. *Laughs… Yea actually you are right.

Rlon continues..

Rlon: So Everytime I tell them about my school they look happy and quite confident. But when they found out about the Ateneo it actually fades away.

Qrina: So what’s your point?

Rlon:  Simple, this are actually tiny details of a Filipino life that makes our country miserable. Being regionalistic and somewhat having a crab mentality on other people.  I am saying not because I’m complaining but it’s actually true. I personally have experienced doing such things. And I think it is horrible. It is horrible being a human and being a Filipino.  It just doesn’t make anything good.

Qrina: Yea, you are right. Those stuffs happends a lot even when I was young and looking for a job..

To be continued….

Media of the Philippines

Posted in Uncategorized on June 11, 2008 by qatanah

” The ABS-CBN official phoned Inquirer editor in chief Letty Jimenez-Magsanoc to appeal for a news blackout for the safety of Drilon and her cameramen. ”  - inq7? mindanao bureau

I have to say that media again underestimated the Tausugs, i guess this statement gave the media a big insult.. Imagine a fellow media asking for a news blackout to another media.  It’s about time that they realize that news blackout is essential.  I guess, they should also consider that in the previous war many soldiers died because of them. I guess it’s a backfire.  I’m not saying that Ces deserves it.  She’s crazy and her crew.  Didn’t know what they are up against.   Just pay the ransom.. I’m pretty sure that abu still has an honor when it comes to ransoms..

A sad reality on the philippines

Posted in Uncategorized on May 9, 2008 by qatanah

I’ve been here in manila for a while, the longer i stay here the more we can say that corruption is So rampant.  No matter how good the Logo is and how charismatic their speakers in their company, they still are just plain corrupt and probably consumed by the philippine system.  No matter how you see good in BIR and meralco here.. even in barangay hall.. everything is so f*cked up.

The real thing?

My days are flying fast and time is like a light speed.  I wake up in the morning to work fast but still my knowledge can’t cope up to the speed of knowledge.    They say that time flies fast when you are enjoying your moments or experiences.  But it seems to me it’s wrong in some certain aspects.   Logically, i should probably not love what i’m doing so that i can salvage some time.  hehe…

I’ve been pushing so much and yet i feel like i have gone not so far.  Why is this? is this all i got? It seems it’s nothing compared to silicon guys?  How annoying can these be?

Nevertheless, i won’t give up.  Even if my boss will shout at me, throw everything at me and do all the chores…  Won’t give up.. il be here to witness the end.  That is, our success.

Goal: To make a data structure

After 8 hours of researching and cracking the code…

hendrix says:  “Dude it seems like we are doing a data structure!”

So much pressure.

My horoscope yesterday

Posted in Uncategorized on March 10, 2008 by qatanah

TAURUS
April 20-May 20
Daily Extended: March 08, 2008

It will be a productive, active day — even if your energy is a bit slow this morning. Don’t worry if you can’t quite get out of bed, or if the idea of getting dressed seems like an insurmountable mountain you don’t particularly feel like climbing. Once you do get out into the world, you will get going and get energized. Just be careful not to rush through the day too quickly. In the late afternoon, there will be some sweet moments. You will want to savor them.

In the afternoon, kath visited me in our house. I didn’t expect that this horoscope wil end up to be true
